Privacy Policy

Google’s Android is a software stack for mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key applications. The Android App Developer site provides a comprehensive guide to building an application compatible with the Android OS, along with tools to test and successfully deploy the app in the Google Play marketplace
  •  Privacy Requirements
    • Privacy Policy:  You agree that if you use the SDK to develop applications for general public users, you will protect the privacy and legal rights of those users. If the users provide you with user names, passwords, or other login information or personal information, your must make the users aware that the information will be available to your application, and you must provide legally adequate privacy notice and protection for those usersAndroid Software Development Kit License Agreement, Section 4.3 (last updated April 10, 2009)
    • Collection and Use of Data:  If the user provides your application with Google Account information, your application may only use that information to access the user’s Google Account when, and for the limited purposes for which, the user has given you permission to do so. Android Software Development Kit License Agreement, Section 4.3(last updated April 10, 2009)
    • Unique Identifiers: Google does not require developers to ask a user’s permission before requesting the Android ID.
  • Google+ Application Sign-In: Third-party apps and Web sites can now incorporate Google+’s sign-on service.  Whether you’re building an app for Android, iOS or the web, users can now sign in to your app with Google, and bring along their Google+ info for an upgraded experience.
